Every early-stage idea needs validation.

When we applied to Gulleggid (The Golden Egg) in 2024, Sea Growth existed only as an idea on paper.

To test whether the concept had real potential, we chose to participate in Iceland’s leading startup competition, organized by the non-profit organization, Klak – Icelandic Startups.

Sea Growth was selected among the top finalists and received valuable feedback from experienced mentors and investors, helping us sharpen our vision and approach.
The company was ultimately chosen as the overall winner of Gulleggid.

Winning the competition confirmed that the idea resonated beyond our own team and gave us the confidence to take the next steps toward building Sea Growth into a real company.
